Scholarship Requirements/Guidelines

  • Applications are due Monday, November 8, 2021
  • Recipients will be announced Monday, November 22, 2021
  • Previous applicants are eligible.
  • You can apply for more than one, but you will be selected for only one.
  • Attendance to the 10th Annual Young Leaders Symposium on Nov. 6, 2021 @12:30PM-3:30PM EST is encouraged, but not mandatory.



COVID-19 Relief Scholarship

($500 for 2 recipients)

Recognizing that students are back to school in person does not mean the pandemic no longer exists nor the financial struggles students and their families still face because of it. The Asian American Commission of Massachusetts (AAC) is providing the opportunity for two (2) students to receive a COVID-19 Relief Scholarship in the amount of $500 to continue supporting you during these times. Community Activism Scholarship

($500 for 3 recipients)

The following scholarships are to award students who have demonstrated a strong sense of community activism. We will consider applications from currently enrolled college students and or high school students who wish to continue their studies towards a career in health, human, or social services and/or in civic engagement. The scholarship recipients will have demonstrated passion for community organizing or giving back to the to the Asian American and Pacific Islander communities in Massachusetts. Three (3) recipients will each receive a  $500 scholarship. Click here to download the application.



Young Leaders Scholarship

($1000 for 1 recipient)

Recognizing the attribution of higher education to personal and professional success while being a leader, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Asian American Commission (AAC) is pleased to issue a scholarship in the amount of $1,000 for a current college student to use towards their undergraduate education expenses.
